The Indus Hospital (TIH) commenced its operations in 2007 as a 150 bed state of the art tertiary healthcare facility. Only in a year or two of operation TIH was inundated with such an exponential rise in the number of patient visits and increasing and inpatient admission queues, that its management was faced with need to expand the facility. A plan was needed in order to cater to a greater segment of society and make a greater impact to Pakistan’s healthcare needs. For this to be made possible an initial plan was drafted in 2014; resources needed and budget constraints were assigned and a final vision for TIH’s multiple ward tower structure materialized.
Rigorous brainstorming consistent efforts and hardcore planning paved way for an expansion plan so the dream to render indiscriminate quality healthcare could come true. The expansion plan was divided into three phases. CPG consultants Pte, a Singapore based firm with over 30 years of experience in international healthcare projects was appointed for the design of the project. They teamed up with a reputable local consultant to develop a master plan, a facilities plan and detail space allocation.
Around 70% of the patients at The Indus Hospital are treated through the Zakat we receive from our donors. An organized
